2017 Classic in the Country

The annual event, known simply as the Classic in the Country, is fast approaching. This year will be another special event with all of the talent that will be in attendance at Hiland High School in Berlin, Ohio. The event will be held January 14-16.

According to event organizer Tom Jenkins, if you took the Top 25 from each of the 4 classes giving you 100 players, 51 of them will be competing in this year’s CITC. Tom and I concur that the 2018, 19 and 20 classes are going to be very special, and one of the top three-year spans Ohio has seen in several years. Per OGBR, you will see 18 of the top 25 juniors, 12 of the top 25 sophomores and 14 of the top 25 freshman in action.

If you have never been there, I strongly suggest that you take a day, or the entire weekend, and visit the Classic in the Country. It will be the best basketball you will see the entire regular season.
